Brief life history of Shree Raghavendra Swamy
Shri Gurugalu is well known for his divine power and available to all. The main brindavana, the abode of Shri Raghavendra Thirtha exist in Mantralayam, Adoni Taluk, Karnool district of A.P. India. However the various mritika brindavanas are established throughout the world for doing the seva and worship of Shri Raghavendra Thirtha.
It is observed that mritika brindavanas also respond equally as that of the main Brindavanas in terms of his divine grace. One of the such Brindavana is established in Mumbai at Jogeshwari West in the western suburbs in 1971. This establishment ceremony was conducted and sanctified by Shri Shri 1008 Sujayeendra Thirtha in 1971. In fact this has happened through an indication of dream sequence of a devotee. Presently this mutt is a branch of mantralayam mutt, functioning under the guidance of 1008 Shri Shri Suyateendra Thirtharu (present peethadhipati) of Raghavendra Swami Mutt, Mantralayam.
Regular Features Th e daily Puja of all the Devatas idols and Brindavana starts in the morning as Abhisheka, Alankara(Decoration), Naivedya (Offerings), Mahamangalarathi and Thirtha Prasada as per traditions of Mantralaya main temple.
Special Features All the important festivals of
the madhvas are celebrated here, with Panchaamruta Abhishekha,
Alankara and Rathotsava with thirtha prasada. They are Ugadi, Shri
Rama navami, Akshayatriteeya, Aradhana of Shri Gurugalu. Shri
Jayathirtha , Shri Vijayendra Thirtha, Shri Vyasaraja and Shri
Vaadiraaja, Navarathri and deepavali, Shri Madhvanavami Shivarathri
and Karthika mahotsava
