Shri Raghavendra Thirtharu

Shri Gurugalu is well known for his divine power and available to all. The main Brindavana, the abode of Shri Raghavendra Thirtha exists in Mantralayam, Adoni Taluka, and Karnool district of A.P. India.
However the various Mritika Brindavanas are established throughout the world for doing the seva and worship of Shri Raghavendra Thirtha.

One of such Brindavana is established in Mumbai at Jogeshwari West in the western suburbs in 1971. This establishment ceremony was conducted and sanctified by Shri Shri Sujayeendra Thirtha in 1971. In fact this has happened through an indication of dream sequence of a devotee.

Presently this Mutt is a branch of Mantralayam Mutt, functioning under the guidance and blessings of Shri Shri Sushameendra Thirtharu (present peethadhipati) and Shri Shri Suyatindra thirtharu of Raghavendra Swami Mutt, Mantralayam.

On Swasthi Sri Vijayabbhudaya Shalivahanasaka Sarvajit naama samvatsara Adhikamasa Krishna Paksha Asthami day Friday the 8th June 2007, the present Sri JagadGuru Sri Madvacharya Mukhya Samsthanadeesha, Nanjanagudu Sri Raghavendra Swami Mutt, now the head of main Mantralaya Peetha’s Sri 1008, Sri Sri Sushameendra Thirtha Sripadangalavaru addressed to Sri S.V. Joshi and other members of the executive committee, so formed, for the purpose of building construction of the branch of Jagadguru Sriman Madhvacharya Moola Mahasamsthana Mantralaya, Shri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt situated at Jogeshwari in Mumbai.

“We do expect the committee to continue its work with great responsibility, devotion and get blessed by Sri Raghavendra Swamiji. After the completion of the construction, there should be Punar Pratisthapana of Shri Shri RAYARA MRITIIKA BRINDAVANA. In this respect the members of the committee should contact and inform all devotees and disciples of Sri Raghavendra Swamy in Mumbai and bring them unitedly under on roof and encourage them to perform various sevas and get the blessings of Sri Rayaru.

We earnestly pray God Sri Moola Ramchandra Devaru and Sri Rayaru to shower all peace and happiness to the members of the committee, their families, all disciples and devotees.”

REDEVELOPMENT-ABHINAVA MANTRALAYA PROJECT

If the present existing structure are to be demolished then a huge area will be available for the reconstruction/redevelopment of the existing premises, thus better planning and aesthetic appearance will be achieved and can be made as ABHINAVA MANTRALAYA.

PROGRAMME of Execution of the project

The committee after careful deliberations with the architects has formulated the following phase wise redevelopment considering the factors such as ongoing Pooja & rituals to continue and also the resources.

The first phase will have there redevelopment, namely, the construction of the temple area only and subsequent construction of basement parking, stilt parking, and the dinning hall and conference room.

The next phase of activity will be started from II floor up to the fourth floor.

Is appointed by the MANTRALAYAM SHRI RAGAVENDRA SWAMY MUTT MANTRALAYAM THROUGH ORDER-NIRUPA OF SHRI SHRI SUSHAMEENDRA THIRTHARU. The committee is taking care of this redevelopment –ABHINAVA MANTRALAYA PROJECT.

The temple complex will have Lord VENKATESHWARA (BALAJI) with SHREEDEVI & BOODEVI, HANUMAN, NAVAGRAHA, GANAPATHI, MANCHALAMMA (DURGADEVI) & MRUTIKA BRINDAVANA of Shri. RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY.

The proposed structure will be similar to Mantralayam Garbha Gudi (Sanctorum) with Tower-GOPURAM.

AREA: The proposed building will have the following facilities with a total area about 91000 sq.ft. This will accommodate following functional requirements. Vedapathashala, Yagnashala, Yoga Kendra, Swamiji’s Rooms, Staff quarters, Library, Gust Rooms, Dining Halls, Kitchen, Discourse Hall (Auditorium), Store Rooms, Community Hall, Goshala, Dhyana Mandir, Office & Administrative Rooms, Wash Room, Bathrooms, Servant Room, Security & Safety Rooms, Aparakarylaya , Utility Blocks.

The estimated cost of the ‘ABHINAVA MANTRALAYA’ project is in the range of Rs. Thirteen to Fifteen Crores.

ARCHITECTS: The building committee has selected three competent as well as known architects for the entire project, includes the internationally famous temple architects, namely, Vivek, Vedic architect-Mr. Dakshinamoorthy and Mr. Ganesh Moorthy. The local architect Mr. R.J. Ashar will be doing the local submissions and clearances and site management

STATUS OF ABINAVA MANTRALAYA PROJECT :

With the blessing of Shri Raghavendra Gurugalu the redevelopment work is progressing well. All legal and statutory regulations are getting cleared. MHADA has issued NOC for the redevelopment work of the mutt along clearances from MMRDA
Presently temple area is getting developed—plinth level concreting work getting completed -15-4-2010.
The stone work installation starting from May 2010.The total temple portion to be ready
by December 2010 for inauguration.
